President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has voiced the danger of the Ukraine conflict escalating into World War III as he presses his case for support from nations from Germany to the United States.

Asked whether he was disappointed that Germany did not plan to supply Ukraine with Taurus cruise missiles, Zelenskiy said he was only disappointed Germany had not played āthe role it should have played in the first occupation of Ukraineā.
Referring to the weakness of the Westās response to Russiaās invasion of Crimea in 2014 which was a precursor for Moscowās invasion in February 2022, he said it was not just about the German response.
āItās not just about Olaf Scholz,ā he said.
āIt concerns European leaders and the US.ā
