There’s nothing quite like biting into a perfectly baked bagel – glossy and golden on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle, and stacked with a seriously tasty arrangement of fillings. That’s exactly what O Bagel has built its name on, and now the beloved bagel spot is bringing its signature creations to a brand-new home at The Oasis in Broadbeach.

Launching on Friday June 6, the new Oasis store is O Bagel’s fourth outpost – joining locations in Southport, Brisbane’s CBD and another just a few blocks away at the northern end of Broadbeach. It’s a fresh chapter for a brand that has, under co-founders Nick Jang and Henry Kim, quietly become one of the coast’s go-to sandwich stops.

On any given day, it’s not uncommon to find a line snaking out the front of O Bagel’s locations – and those in the know will tell you it’s worth the wait. The brand has earned its cult following with daily house-baked bagels and satisfying filling combos. From slow-cooked brisket and house-made sauces to herb-flecked cream cheese and citrusy whipped fetta, the O Bagel menu transforms the humble breakfast staple into a crave-worthy go-to for any time of day.

The new Oasis location will feature all of O Bagel’s fan-favourites, including the Good Morning, which is layered with bacon, egg, a hash brown and house-made aioli, and the NYC that comes stacked with house-made egg salad, wood-smoked ham, lettuce, Swiss cheese and smoky tomato relish. The Drop the Beef bagel pairs slow-cooked brisket with chipotle sour cream, house barbecue sauce, fior di latte, rocket, jalapeno and onion, while the Classy Lox nods to a classic with 48-hour house-cured salmon, herbed cream cheese, baby capers, fresh tomato and red onion.

Every sandwich is made to order, and you can take your pick from bagel flavours like plain, poppyseed, blueberry, black jalapeno and more, which are all baked fresh daily. Prefer to keep it simple? Skip the fillings and go for a (very) generous schmear of cream cheese – available in plain, blueberry, mocha or onion and chive. Be sure to grab a matcha latte or a tiramisu cloud to sip!
